Abstract:
A safety cap requiring skill with the hands for opening operation, hard to be opened by a child, and capable of releasing a safety function as required, wherein a part of the outer peripheral wall (11) of a cap body (2) is formed in an operating plate (6) elastically deformable inward, a pair of engaging means (7) and (22) engaged with each other are provided in the peripheral wall of the cover (2) hinged to the upper part of the cap body (2) and at the upper part of the operating plate (6) so that the cover can be opened by releasing the engagement by elastically deforming the operating plate inward, whereby, with the operating plate (6) deformed inward, the operating plate (6) can be fixed to a cap body (2) portion excluding the operating plate or a container mouth part (52) by an operating plate fixing means (14).
