Abstract:

The present invention relates to a safety helmet having a cooling fan, comprising: an inner member which is formed into a shape capable of being worn on the head of a user, and which has a through unit having at least one through-hole formed at one side thereof; an outer shell member arranged at the outer surface of the inner member; an air passage unit formed inside the outer shell member and communicated with the through unit of the inner member such that air flow is enabled between the inside of the inner member and the outside of the outer shell member; the cooling fan for suctioning air from the inner space of the inner member and discharging the suctioned air to the outside through the air passage unit, or suctioning air from outside and blowing the suctioned air to the inner space of the inner member through the air passage unit; a wear-on/take-off state sensing unit for sensing a wear-on state in which the inner member is worn on the head of the user and a take-off state in which the inner member is removed from the head of the user; and a control unit for operating the cooling fan when the wear-on/take-off state sensing unit senses the wear-on state, and preventing the cooling fan from operating when the wear-on/take-off state sensing unit senses the take-off state.
