Abstract:
Provided is a safety work device, such as a safety cabinet or a fume hood, with minimized equipment depth and width for saving space, wherein a plurality of HEPA filters are installed in an exhaust system to make outside leakage of contaminants as close to zero as possible. This safety work device comprises: a work space (12); a front shutter (13) that covers a portion of an opening part on the front surface of the work space; a work opening part (17) located below the front shutter, and into which a worker can put their hands to conduct work; a rear opening (18) provided on a lower part of the back surface of the work space, and which sucks air in the work space; and an exhaust flow path (30) provided on the rear side of the back surface of the work space, and which exhausts the air in the work space. The safety work device is characterized in that a first HEPA filter (31) for exhaust is disposed in the longitudinal direction on the rear side of the rear opening (18) in the exhaust flow path, and a second HEPA filter (32) for exhaust is disposed in the longitudinal direction on the downstream side of the first HEPA filter in the exhaust flow path.
