Abstract:
Factors generating sagging in the appearance are identified, and the sagging is evaluated on the basis of the identified factors. A method that is one embodiment of the present invention includes: a step for acquiring a gravity swelling amount and a gravity dimpling amount obtained based on three-dimensional shape changes between horizontal and vertical three-dimensional shape face images of a subject; a step for calculating the sagging amount within the face and the sagging amount in front of and behind the cheeks, based on the gravity swelling amount and the gravity dimpling amount; and a step for evaluating the sagging type and degree using the sagging amount within the face and the sagging amount in front of and behind the cheeks as indices.
