Abstract:
The new compound provided by the applicant is a salicylic acid-based fumarate derivative having a general structural formula (A): wherein in the general structural formula (A), R1 is one of H+, Na+, K+ or NH4+, and R2 is an esterified product of fumaric acid. According to the experimental verification by the applicant, the salicylic acid-based fumarate derivative has the general structural formula formed by combining salicylic acid and fumaric acid via an esterification reaction. It is proven that such a compound has a good activity in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
