Abstract:
A sample analyzer (1) and a sample analysis method. The sample analyzer (1) comprises: a sample container accommodating device (90) configured to accommodate sample containers (91, 92, 93) for loading samples (100); a capacitive sensor (7) configured to measure the sample amount or sample positions of the samples (100) in the sample containers (91, 92, 93) in a manner of not contacting the samples (100); a sample processing device (50) configured to process the samples (100) in the sample containers (91, 92, 93); and a control device (30) communicationally connected to the capacitive sensor (7) and the sample processing device (50) and configured to obtain sample information of the sample containers (91, 92, 93) from the capacitive sensor (7), the sample information comprising at least one of information of the sample amount and information of the sample positions, and control a processing action of the sample processing device (50) according to the sample information or determine whether the sample processing device (50) performs the processing action. Therefore, the types of the sample containers or samples can be reliably recognized according to the capacitive sensor (7), and subsequent processing actions for the samples (100) in the sample containers (91, 92, 93) can be determined, thus improving the security of sample analysis.
