Abstract:

Provided is a sample crushing apparatus furnished with the ability to reliably absorb vibrations of a support member that supports a sample container and accompanying vibrations of the other components. While a rotary shaft 20 is being driven into rotation by a rotary drive mechanism, the whirling motion of a first support member 12 about the axis X1 of a rotary shaft 10 and the rotating motion of the first support member 12 about the axis X2 of an inclined shaft 20 are constrained by a first elastic member 14 to a base 10. As a result, the first support member 12 and a sample container 41 are vibrated in multiple directions, causing a sample stored in the sample container 41 to be crushed by a crushing medium. The vibrations of the first support member 12 in multiple directions are absorbed by the base 1 via the first elastic member 14 connected to both the first support member 12 and the base 1.
