Abstract:
Position coordinates difference calculation units (5a-5c) calculate position coordinates differences between the position coordinates of multiple output digital signals and the position coordinates of respective neighboring input digital signals. FIR coefficient memories (13a-13c) hold FIR coefficients of FIR-LPFs and, upon receiving input of the position coordinates differences, output FIR coefficients that correspond to position coordinates differences between the output digital signals and a fixed number of input digital signals that are present in the peripheral vicinity of the position coordinates of the output digital signals. If position coordinates differences that respectively correspond to two or more different output digital signals are calculated simultaneously, a control unit (11) supplies FIR coefficient sets and input digital signal sets that correspond to the respective position coordinates differences to a parallel FIR operation unit (4) in accordance with a predetermined order. The parallel FIR operation unit (4) performs FIR-LPF interpolation calculation by using the FIR coefficient sets and digital signal sets in order calculate an output digital signal.
