Abstract:
A sandwich-form metamaterial structure having a cavity comprises a sandwich-form unit (20), wherein the sandwich-form unit (20) has a cavity (22), a surface layer (24) and a backing layer (26) that are located at two ends of the cavity (22) respectively, and at least one separator (28) disposed inside of the cavity (22). The separator (28) is parallel to the surface layer (24) and the backing layer (26) and has at least one through-hole (282) thereon. The present invention disposes a separator having a through-hole inside of a cavity to improve the existing honeycomb structure, thereby reducing the noise strength and noise frequency such that the acoustic characteristic thereof is closer to that of a solid construction material, optimizing user experience.
