Abstract:
Provided are a sandwich panel and a sandwich panel manufacturing method that involve: a plate-shaped core material having a groove formed on at least one surface thereof in the thickness direction; a crack arrester that is formed by using a composite material and disposed in the groove; a pair of face plates that are formed by using a composite material and arranged on both surfaces of the core material in the thickness direction; and a cover that is formed by using a composite material and arranged to extend from between one of the surfaces of the core material and the face plate to between the groove and the crack arrester.
