Abstract:
A satellite time delivery system for delivering time information to a receiving device via a stationary satellite comprises: a reference clock which creates a time that is used as a reference; a transmitting means which adds an ID to the time obtained from the reference clock to generate time information, encrypts the time information, and transmits the encrypted time information via the stationary satellite; a receiving means which receives the time information returned from the stationary satellite; a delay calculating means which measures the receipt time of the time information on the basis of the time of the reference clock, and finds, as a delay time, the difference between the time included in the time information and the measured receipt time; and a delay time information transmitting means which adds the same ID as the ID included in the time information to the delay time to generate delay time information and transmits the delay time information to the receiving device.
