Technical Field

[0002] This invention is a personal wet sauna and is therefore categorized in the field of WEARING APPAREL.

Background Art

[0003] Traditional sauna chambers help eliminate body’s lactic acid and relieve pain and problems at the joints. The body reacts to the heat as soon one enters a sauna. The body’s temperature reaches to 39°c. At this time the capillaries dilate, skin pores expand, perspiration increases, blood flow increases, the heart beats faster, breathing channels expand and the amount of oxygen input increases due to effects of dry warm air. The perspiration flexibility improves due to such rapid changes in body’s temperature, significantly affecting the breathing of skin.

However, there are also disadvantages such as:

[0004] 1. Stimulating blood circulation and preventing cardiovascular diseases

[0005] 2. Helping the improvement of blood circulation system and preparation of the heart for better performance.

[0006] 3. Increasing body’s metabolism, reducing muscular pressures and relaxing muscles. Expulsion of body’s toxic materials, improvement of body’s general conditions and instigating liveliness when awakened and serenity while asleep.

[0007] 4. Pumping more blood by the heart, ensuring its health, preventing blood coagulation in cardiac blood vessels, reducing the risk of heart strokes, increasing the temperature of the legs and as a result other organs of body.

[0008] 5. Recovery and renewal of body’s physical and mental strengths.

[0009] 6. Exercising for perspiration to eliminate toxic matters is not very much

effective. Sauna is a perfect way to accomplish this aim.

Technical Problem

[0019] Office employees sitting at desks, doing no sports and having no or little

physical activities/exercises are faced with the problem of obesity and related diseases like hypertension, diabetes, brain stroke risk, arthritis, cancer etc. This problem results in many physical damages and inabilities in doing works for many people. Thus, overweight people seeking solutions for their problems find sauna as one of the most efficient efforts. Sauna chambers, made in various forms and sizes are among the most common sauna applications. However, there are some overweight people who, for various reasons and problems, cannot use these common types of saunas. Some of them have breathing problems staying in places of high humidity for a few minutes or hours. Some suffer from

cardiovascular problems and the air pressure in sauna presses on their chests making problems for them. Some others do not use saunas for the many harms and problems resulting from melting eyes’ fat. (melting of eyes’ greasy

conditions). Some people prefer not to use sauna because it is costly and time- consuming. The sauna user should stay in an enclosed environment and therefore miss all activities and communications. All these problems make sauna an inappropriate option for overweight people and many others who require it.

Solution to Problem

[0020] Around 80% -90% of houses in the developed countries are equipped with saunas due to its numerous advantages. However, less than 10% of houses in Iran have saunas because of the shortcomings and inadequate conditions. This invention aims at developing a type of sauna providing the capabilities of the current saunas in reducing weight, in addition to eliminating their shortcomings and deficiencies such as enclosed environments, breathing and cardiovascular problems for users, high consumption of time, inaccessibility for all, health problems etc. [0021 ] Slimming sauna apparel, capable of being used everywhere, has been designed for preventing cardiovascular, breathing channels, skin, stomach, sides, hips, muscles and joints diseases. It consists of two main parts; the apparel part and sauna device part. The apparel part is made of neoprene for applications in hot and cold environments. Therefore, it does not react to hot and warm water and so does not release dangerous chemical matters. The apparel is made of polyethylene fibers which naturally block particles smaller than 1 m and warm air does not exit from it. This is a single-layered cloth and the protection is achieved by this same layer. The polyethylene used in this apparel belongs to mal family produced through ethylene gas polymerization. The apparel is supplied with pores to prevent contact of the apparel with body during work. A piece of sponge is fitted from inside in the collar for convenient lodging of the neck and preventing air escape. There is a band here making the apparel impenetrable upon tying.

The apparel has a zipper from the crotch to the collar blocking the escape of air when pulled up to the end. The air can only exit at ankles. The steam production part is mounted on a chassis with two rings at the top for being fitted on the shoulder, bearing more weight. Strong cloth straps are used with the rings to prevent damages to user’s clothing. Insulating canvas is used under the chassis to prevent damages to user’s clothing and insulate this part. The chassis is also tied to the user’s waist via a belt for more movement prevention. After the chassis and device are fixed, the device’s steam -carrying pipes shall be entered into the apparel through the places devised at the back of the waist. The device is comprised of parts such as: chassis, water containers, blower, cable, and electric fittings, heating element, steam-carrying pipes, temperature adjustment nob and on/off switch. To use the device pour water into the device containers, connect the device’s power cable to a power outlet, turn the device on, and set the temperature. Water is sent to the heating elements part, heated by the elements, and changed into steam. The produced steam is then sent into the apparel via steam-carrying pipes by the pressure from the blower (blower’s motor). Some small balls are attached to the sides, belly, and hips of the apparel from inside to prevent the apparel from sticking to the body, prevent steam from hurting the body, and burn more fat. The steam moves inside the apparel, burns fat and can only exit from the parts at the ankles. By setting the temperature, the temperature of the steam inside the apparel can be controlled. The apparel does not cover the face and the head in order not to burn the fat at the eyes and prevent doing daily works. Bands or zippers could be contrived at certain parts such as top of the knees, round elbows, under the chest and so on, so that people can have options for fat burning and slimming certain parts of body.
