Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a saw sheath into which a saw blade can be easily inserted from an entrance of a sheath opening, which can reliably guide the edge of the saw blade, for which the weight of the sheath opening can be reduced, and for which producibility can be effectively improved. This saw sheath (1) includes a sheath opening (10) and a sheath body (20), wherein the sheath opening (10) has a first entrance (17a) and a second entrance (17c). The sheath opening (10) also has, on the two sides of the first entrance (17a) in the horizontal width direction, a pair of first guide rolls (13) that guides the edge of a saw blade into the sheath opening (10), and on one side of the second entrance (17c)in the vertical width direction of the sheath opening (10), a second guide roll (14) that guides the edge of the inserted saw blade into the sheath body (20) by correcting the orientation of the saw blade to match the direction of flatness of the flat sheath body (20). At a position immediately before the second guide roll (14), an inclined guide comb part (11j) is provided for guiding the edge (31a) toward the second guide roll (14).
