Abstract:
The present application relates to a scanning device, an image forming apparatus, a scanning method, and a storage medium. The scanning device comprises: two image readers that are separately configured to read a file to be scanned and output image data corresponding to the file to be scanned; a data processor connected to the image reader by means of a first signal transmission line, wherein the data processor is configured to obtain the image data by means of the first signal transmission line and cache into a cache unit in the data processor; and an imaging controller configured to read the image data of the cache unit by means of a second signal transmission line, wherein the number of lines corresponding to the second signal transmission line is less than that of lines corresponding to the first signal transmission line. The number of ports, which are used for receiving scanned data, of the imaging controller of the scanning device can be matched with the number of output interfaces of a configured scanning unit.
