Abstract:
[Problem] To provide very safe scissors that can more reliably prevent pinching of fingers when being closed. [Solution] The present invention forms, on the left and right handles (7a, 7b), pinched finger-preventing guards (20a, 20b) for preventing the entry of fingertips between the opposing inner surfaces (10a, 10b) from above or below. The invention can prevent a user's fingertips reaching the opposing inner surfaces (10a, 10b) by the user placing the fingertips, which have been inserted into the finger holes (6a, 6b), along the upper and lower surfaces of the pinched finger-preventing guards (20a, 20b). Consequently, when the handles (7a, 7b) are in a closing position, the fingertips being pinched between the opposing inner surfaces (10a, 10b) and causing pinched fingers can be prevented.
