Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an SCL decoding method, apparatus and device, applied to a butterfly-shaped decoding network. The butterfly-shaped decoding network comprises n+1 layers of nodes, the (n-1)th layer of nodes of the butterfly-shaped decoding network comprise N/2 first nodes for executing a first operation, and any of the first nodes executes the first operation, comprising: obtaining L partial sums corresponding to the first node, wherein L is the number of paths reserved for SCL decoding, L is an integer greater than 2, N is the number of log likelihood ratios (LLRs) input to a decoder, and N=2n; obtaining two operation results corresponding to the first node from a first storage space, the size of the first storage space being N*Qα bits, and the first storage space being used for storing two operation results corresponding to each first node: executing the operation result of the first operation when the partial sum is 1, and executing the operation result of the first operation when the partial sum is 0, Qα being the bit width of an LLR; and executing the first operation according to the L partial sums and the two operation results. The space complexity of SCL decoding is reduced.
