Abstract:
The present invention relates to a scrap discharge device (100) for collecting scraps (S) produced by press working. The scrap discharge device (100) is provided with: a guide slope (2) which guides the scraps (S) so that the scraps (S) slide down from the die (1) of a press machine; a hopper (3) which is provided so that the scraps (S) having slid down along the guide slope (2) drop into the hopper (3); and a lid (7) which has a first end (17a) pivotally attached to a pivot section (5) located at the upper end of a wall surface which forms the hopper (3), the wall surface being located on the side opposite the guide slope (2). The lid (7) is capable of opening and closing the hopper opening of the hopper (3). When the lid (7) is closed, the second end (17b) of the lid (7), which is located on the side opposite the first end (17a), is located above the first end (17a).
