Abstract:
A screen brightness adjustment method and a mobile terminal (100). The screen brightness adjustment method comprises: acquiring an ambient brightness value of the current application environment (11); acquiring a backlight level of the mobile terminal (100) (12); when the ambient brightness value is greater than a first preset threshold value and the backlight level is greater than a second preset threshold value, acquiring a screen brightness adjustment parameter corresponding to the ambient brightness value (13); and adjusting the screen brightness of the mobile terminal (100) according to the screen brightness adjustment parameter (14). When the screen brightness is adjusted according to the ambient light, the backlight of the screen is not adjusted directly, instead, the screen brightness is adjusted according to the screen brightness adjustment parameter, which makes the display effect of a screen clear and also reduces the system consumption.
