Abstract:
Provided is a screen device for papermaking raw material that can facilitate pulping of raw material. The screen device for papermaking raw material is provided with a screen inlet chamber (6) that sorts papermaking raw material (A) into acceptable material (B), which is good quality fiber, and foreign matter; a pulping unit (25) that pulps the foreign matter separated in this screen inlet chamber (6) and generates reject material (C); and a reject chamber (7) to which the reject material (C) generated by the pulping unit (25) is sent. A dehydration unit (30) is provided between the screen inlet chamber (6) and the pulping unit (25) to dehydrate the foreign matter and send the same to the pulping unit (25).
