Abstract:
This invention relates to method and screening system for biomedical analysis used in qualitative and quantitative determination of substances of biomedical interest in real time, easy to scan the mass of the population to improve the state of health. The method of identification and quantification of substances of biological interest in biological fluids and tissues, is to determine the existence of substances of biomedical interest of specific diseases or performing routine tests to determine the state of health of the patient, their number is unlimited, identify the substance of interest biomedical and quantify, both measurements are necessary in determining the state of health, the evolution of the disease or the establishment of efficiency of the medical treatment or any other type of treatment administered to the patient. Screening system for biomedical analysis, according to the invention consists of a system for generating an analytical information (1) that come in direct contact with biological fluid or tissue processing system and data processing system (7), which transmits the analysis results to a printer (3) and a doctor or a database by pressing (4).

Claims

1. The method of identification and quantification of substances of biomedical interest, characterized in that, using a system for generating analytical information consists of electrochemical sensors, optical sensors, reference sensors and, if necessary auxiliary sensors connected to a processing system and data processing by using dedicated software with the ability to identify and quantify substances of biomedical interest.

2. Screening system for biomedical analysis used to determine quality and quantity of substances of biomedical interest in real-time implement the method of claim 1 , characterized in that, it is composed of a system for generation of the analytical information, a system for processing of the analytical information, a printing system and a system for the transmission of the results of the analysis to a medical and/or a special database, using existing transmission site systems.

System for generation of the analytical information (1) to identify and quantify substances of biomedical interest, according to claim 2 characterized in that, it shapes and sizes are of order of magnitude nano, micro or macro, and consists of electrochemical and/or optical sensors as working electrodes (9), reference sensors (10) and, if necessary, auxiliary sensors (11) and is connected to the system of data processing (7).

Electrochemical and/or optical working sensors (9) of nano, micro or macro sizes with different geometric shapes according to claim 3 characterized in that it has an active part formed from a matrix which can be paste, sol-gel, plastic, metallic (e.g. gold, platinum, silver) or solid and an electroactive or/and an optically active of biological or synthetic nature, depending on the nature and composition of particular biological substances - reviewed biomedical interest.

5. The range of screening systems for biomedical analysis according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that it can process and transmit in real-time the results of the analysis based on the identification and quantification of substances of biomedical interest, under various degrees of complexity depending on the nature of the user, the aim of the analysis being in vitro diagnostic as well as identification within 48 hours of the most effective treatment.

Construction

The invention relates the method of screening and fast screening systems minimally invasive and noninvasive to identify and quantify substances of biomedical interest, with immediate results for patients, easy to scan the mass of the population to improve health.

Lately there was a growing increase in mortality among patients suffering from diseases such as cancer, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, HIV, influenza (eg, A H1 N1), etc.. The possibility of detection of these diseases is related to the characteristic symptoms among patients. This is the moment when the chances of living are very low if not nonexistent. Cases of survival are considered miracles for illness such as cancer, HIV, given the fact that the development of biochemistry and medicine at this time does not allow finding a solution to cure patients. There are solutions for the determination of glucose [US6043492], early determination of pregnancy [US3278270], the determination of immunity by measuring the levels of antioxidants in the skin [US6205354], which are minimally invasive or noninvasive.

The technical problem which aims to solve the present invention is to achieve a mass screening system that allows people to identify and quantify substances of biomedical interest in biological fluids and tissues, using methods of screening and screening systems for minimally invasive or non-invasive, with results obtained in real-time.

The system includes sensors with characteristics superior to those presented in the previous patents, BI123101 - the proposed stochastic sensor for ascorbic acid determination based on porphyrins, having macro size, and an electrolyte (KCI) in the plastic body, and Bl 125050 - proposed a stochastic microsensor for diagnosing of cancer at the molecular level, a few drops of blood can be used before and/or after cancer has been installed in the body, and the patent application A01 120/2010 where the DOT sensor formed from a working electrode, a reference electrode and an auxiliary electrode (amperometric electrodes only and stochastic electrodes) that can make analysis of two or more analytes simultaneously, using different techniques such as potentiometric, amperometric, stochastic, optical, the method being correlated with the nature of the substance to be determined, the working electrode consisting of a simple or modified diamond paste with different chiral selectors such as inulin, phthalocyanine. A608/2010 patent application have been proposed a method and system for detection, identification and rapid quantitative evaluation of specific biomarkers in biological fluids that can perform medical tests by automatic detection of the biomarkers known by the system, automatic identification of particular elements of the electrical signal generated by the biomarker, indicating precisely the type of biomarker and performing a quantitative evaluation of biomarkers in the sample of fluid, resulting in relative concentration. Screening system comprising: system for generation of the analytical information composed of analytical sensor systems consisting of electrochemical and/or optical sensors which are in direct contact with biological fluids or tissue for analysis, measurement system with electrochemical and/or optical detection features with ability to transform . the analytical information into experimental data, system for acquisition, processing and storing data that will allow their visualization at any time, and remote transmission of data processed, which will be selected depending on the possibilities of the area where the analysis is performed.

The system used for the generation of the analytical information consists of electrochemical and optical sensors with different sizes and shapes, and it can be used for measurements of biological fluids and/or tissues according to the analysis required by the physician or the patient, with the ability to make one measurement or multiple measurements. Electrochemical and optical sensors are composed of a matrix that can be paste, sol-gel, plastic, metal (eg gold, platinum, silver), and an electroactive or/and optical compound which is of biological or synthetic nature, depending on the particular nature and composition of biological substance - reviewed biomedical interest.

Advantages of screening method and system for biomedical analysis are:

Real-time analysis of substances of biomedical interest;

- Identify and quantify substances of biomedical interest at a concentration unreachable by standard methods of analysis;

- Reduce cost of analysis using two types of systems for generation of the analytical information: disposable and multiple use;

- Ability to determine in vitro the most effective treatment within 48 hours.

- The possibility of creating of a range of devices for both people and specialist physicians and clinics, the complexity of the information provided being directly related to the nature of the user: the patient, clinical laboratory, physician.

An example of practical realization of the invention in connection with Figures 1 , 2 and 3 which are:

Screening system for biomedical analysis consists (Fig. 1), according to the invention, of a system for generating analytical information 1 that comes into direct contact with biological fluid or tissue and the system for processing system 7 up to experimental data - proper analysis results. The results can be viewed on a screen 6, can be printed with a simple push of the button 3 or/and transmitted to a medical center or medical doctor by pressing 4. Pressing button 5 will allow the interruption of the power supply unit.

The system used for the generation of the analytical information consists of electrochemical and/or optical sensors as working electrodes 9, the reference sensors 10 and, if necessary, auxiliary sensors 11. Electrochemical/optical working sensors consist of a matrix of any of the following types: sol-gel, plastic, metal (eg gold, platinum, silver) or solid which incorporate the electroactive or optical compound which can be of biological or synthetic nature.

Medical examination is done by putting in contact biological sample (fluid or tissue) with the system for the generation of the analytic information 1 , processing is done in real time by the system of processing of the analytical information 7, resulting in experimental data reflecting the quality and quantity of the biological compounds of biomedical interest in biological fluid or tissue, which represents the result of analysis. The analytical result can be printed by selecting 3 and transmitted by means at the disposal site analysis or a doctor specialized databases by pressing 4.
