Abstract:
A screw compressor that comprises a drive device and a pressure switching mechanism. The drive device comprises: a Vi piston that is connected to a variable Vi valve; and a drive cylinder that movably houses the Vi piston. The pressure switching mechanism comprises an electromagnetic valve, a switching cylinder, a switching piston, and a spring. The electromagnetic valve: opens/closes a first flow path that connects a discharge chamber and one cylinder chamber of the drive device; and introduces or cuts off discharge pressure from the discharge chamber to the one cylinder chamber. The switching cylinder communicates with the first flow path between the electromagnetic valve and the one cylinder chamber. The switching piston is movably housed inside the switching cylinder. The spring is compressed by the movement of the switching piston.
