Abstract:
A screw compressor is provided with a slide valve arranged in a slide groove to slide and move between a suction side and an ejection side in a rotation axis direction of a screw rotor. An ejection-side end surface of the slide valve is constituted by at least three surfaces having different inclinations. Among the three surfaces, a tip-side surface in a rotation direction of the screw rotor is an inclination surface that lies along an inclination of a screw groove opposing the slide valve in an ejection-side slide position at the timing of starting of ejection. Among the three surfaces, a rear-side surface in the rotation direction of the screw rotor is an inclination surface that lies along the inclination of the screw groove opposing the slide valve in a suction-side slide position at the timing of starting of ejection. When the respective inclination angles of the three surfaces from a plane perpendicular to a rotation axis of the screw rotor are defined as α, β, and γ, the relationship α > β <γ holds.
