Abstract:
This screw compressor is provided with: a casing that constitutes an outer shell and that has a cylindrical shape inside, has a high-pressure space formed on a discharge side of the cylindrical shape, and has a low-pressure space formed on an intake side inside of the cylindrical shape; a rotary-driven screw shaft that is disposed inside the casing; a screw rotor that is fixed to the screw shaft and that has a helical tooth groove on an outer circumferential surface thereof; a slide valve that is provided in a slide groove formed in an inner cylindrical surface of the casing and that is disposed so as to be slidably movable in a first direction, which is an axial direction of the screw shaft; a slide valve movement mechanism that slidably moves the slide valve along the first direction to the discharge side and the intake side; and a seating member that is disposed at or adjacent to an end surface of the casing on the discharge side of the cylindrical shape and that causes an end surface of the slide valve on the discharge side to be seated thereon when the slide valve movement mechanism moves the slide valve along the first direction toward the discharge side.
