Abstract:
The invention relates to lifting devices for carrying loads and people and has a simplified structure that is reliable in operation. The present device comprises a load-bearing platform and a lifting platform, which are connected to one another by two pairs of scissor-type levers. The pairs of levers are connected to one another by downwardly curved crossbars. A drive mechanism is mounted preferably beneath the lifting platform and comprises a helical shaft with a bidirectional thread, which is connected by a chain drive to a motor and to a reduction drive. Mounted on each end of the helical shaft are nuts that are connected to the levers by pairs of angled arms. The shaft is connected to the motor by an electromagnetic clutch. The platform is hollow and has a depression in the bottom thereof for an electric motor. The load-bearing platform has supports at its corners.
