Abstract:
The invention relates to a screw pump for conveying bulk material. The aim of the invention is to further develop existing screw pumps for use in ship unloading systems and to improve the feeding device for use in the ship unloading process. The feeding device according to the invention is characterized in particular in that the device arranged in the pressure region (1) for supplying a fluidizing agent (6) is arranged partly, largely, or completely on at least one horizontal plane extending through the conveying pipe (2) when the screw conveyor (3) of the feeding device is arranged horizontally.
