Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to prevent a deterioration in the strength of a screw rotor having a hollow portion, and improve cooling performance. This screw rotor has, on an outer circumference, helical teeth which extend a prescribed length in an axial direction, wherein a radial cross section through the screw rotor comprises cross sections through a tooth portion, an axially central portion, a supporting portion connecting an axially central side of a tooth bottom or a tooth tip of the tooth portion cross section with a diametrically outer side of the axially central portion, and a hollow portion formed by the supporting portions adjacent to one another in a direction of rotation and an axially central side inner surface of the tooth bottom or the tooth tip, and an axial longitudinal cross section through the screw rotor comprises a cross section in which the axially central portion, the supporting portions, the axially central side of the tooth bottom or the tooth tip, and an axial direction end portion of the screw rotor are connected continuously as an integrated component by means of three-dimensional shaping or the like.
