Abstract:
The present invention further improves the producibility, tool compatibility and foolproof functioning of a scribe device. The scribe device (1) according to the present invention comprises: a mounting means (3) on which a brittle material substrate (2) is mounted; a scribe head (7) which is provided on the mounting means (3) to face the brittle material substrate (2); a holder joint (19) which is provided to the tip of the scribe head (7); a tool (8) which is detachably attached to the holder joint (19) and forms a scribe line in the brittle material substrate (2); and a tool change mechanism (30) which changes the tool (8), once used, for another tool (8). The tool change mechanism (30) comprises: a remover (41) which dismounts the tool (8) from the holder joint (19); a cartridge (31) which accommodates a plurality of tools (8); and a transfer nozzle (81) which moves the tool (8) between the remover (41) and the cartridge (31). The transfer nozzle (81) adsorbs the tool (8) by air suction.
