Abstract:
This scroll component comprises: a scroll substrate that has a sliding surface for sliding in contact with another member and that is composed of an aluminum alloy; and a coating layer formed on the sliding surface of the scroll substrate. The coating layer comprises: a zinc phosphate layer that is formed on the sliding surface and that includes zinc phosphate particles; a solid lubricating layer that is formed on the surface of the zinc phosphate layer and that includes solid lubricating agent particles; and a polishing layer that is formed on the surface of the solid lubricating layer and that includes a binder and polishing agent particles having a Mohs hardness higher than the Mohs hardness of the binder.
