Abstract:
Inclined surfaces (11aa(s), 12aa(s)) having an angle relative to a wrap-side end surface (12aa) of a revolving scroll end plate are provided in an area not used as a compression chamber in at least one of a wrap-side end surface (11aa) of a fixed scroll end plate (11a) and the wrap-side end surface (12aa) of the revolving scroll end plate. This makes it possible to provide a highly efficient and highly reliable scroll compressor in which burrs and wrap tips do not come into contact with each other at the edge of a discharge port (14) or a sub-discharge port (14a) and the behavior of the revolving scroll (12) is stabilized.
