This scroll compressor (100) is equipped with a casing (10), a partition member (50), a compression element (40), a first channel (51), and a second channel (52). The casing (10) has an internal space (S) in which a lubricating oil (LO) is present. The casing (10) is cylindrical. The partition member (50), by being fixed to the casing (10), divides the internal space (S) into a first space (S1) and a second space (S2). The compression element (40) has a fixed scroll (41) and a movable scroll (42). The movable scroll (42) moves with respect to the fixed scroll (41). The compression element (40) discharges a refrigerant into the first space (S1). The first channel (51) is disposed in the partition member (50). The first channel (51) allows the refrigerant to pass from the first space (S1) into the second space (S2). The second channel (52) is disposed in the partition member (50) so as to be separated from the first channel (51). The second channel (52) is configured so as to guide the lubricating oil (LO) into the second space (S2). The second channel (52) has a narrow section (59). The narrow section (59) has the narrowest channel area. The ratio of the hydraulic diameter (D) of the narrow section (59) to the length (L) of the narrow section (59) in an axial direction (a) of the casing (10) is at least 0.01 and no greater than 0.07.
