Abstract:
Provided is a scroll compressor in which an installation position of a check valve is optimized, such that a back flow of a refrigerant is prevented at the time of stopping of the scroll compressor, flow noise can be reduced, the refrigerant sucked in by the scroll compressor can be efficiently distributed to a compression chamber and a drive unit. The scroll compressor comprises: a main body; a fixed scroll fixedly installed in the main body; an orbiting scroll which is engaged with the fixed scroll and performs a relative orbiting motion and forms a compression chamber with the fixed scroll; a high-low-pressure separation plate disposed above the fixed scroll and separating the inside of the main body into a low-pressure portion and a high-pressure portion; a first check valve, installed at a discharge port of the fixed scroll, for opening and closing the discharge port; and a second check valve, installed on an upper portion of the high-low-pressure separation plate, for opening and closing an opening connecting the low-pressure portion and the high-pressure portion.
