Abstract:
This scroll compressor is provided with a shell which contains an orbiting scroll, and with a stationary scroll which is contained in the shell and which, together with the orbiting scroll, forms at least a first compression chamber and a second compression chamber which has a lower pressure than the first compression chamber. The shell is provided with a first inner wall surface and a first protrusion which protrudes from the first inner wall surface and which positions the stationary scroll. The stationary scroll is provided with a base plate which is affixed to the first inner wall surface, a discharge port which is formed in the base plate so as to communicate with the first compression chamber and which discharges a compressed refrigerant, a discharge valve which is provided so as to be capable of opening and closing the discharge port, a first bypass port which is formed in the base plate so as to communicate with the second compression chamber, and a first bypass valve which is provided so as to be capable of opening and closing the first bypass port and which is set to an open state by a pressure value greater than the pressure value of the refrigerant, at which the discharge valve is set to an open state.
