Abstract:
The present invention provides a lightweight scroll pump rotor in which the gaps between scroll vanes are precisely managed, and a scroll pump comprising the scroll pump rotor. The scroll pump rotor is used in a scroll pump 1 that is provided with a stationary rotor 5 having a base plate 3 and a stationary-side scroll vane 4, and a movable rotor 8 having a base plate 6 and a movable-side scroll vane 7, the scroll pump 1 being such that a compression chamber 2 is formed between the stationary-side scroll vane 4 and the movable-side scroll vane 7, and the movable rotor 8 is caused to revolve about an axis line of the stationary rotor 5 to compress a gas. The stationary-side scroll vane 4 and the movable-side scroll vane 7 are each formed into a shape tapering from a proximal portion to a distal portion, respective side wall surfaces of the scroll vanes 4, 7 each have an incline angle of 0.1-10 degrees relative to the axis line of the stationary rotor 5, and the incline angles of the side wall surface of the stationary-side scroll vane 4 and the side wall surface of the movable-side scroll vane 7, which face each other, are equal.
