Abstract:
An annular seal ring made of resin and arranged between an outer member and an inner member that rotate relative to one another. The seal ring is arranged inside a circumferential groove of either the outer member or the inner member, and separates a fluid space from an external space. The seal ring is formed in a circular shape from a long, arc-shaped bar by connecting the end portions of the bar, and has a connecting portion formed from the two end portions. The thickness of the seal ring in the radial direction gradually decreases toward the connecting portion from two locations that are at a distance from the connecting portion, and the locations are separated by an angle of 60 degrees to 150 degrees, with the center axis of the circle as the center.
