Provided is a seal structure for a belt cover of an internal combustion engine having excellent sealing in multiple mating surfaces of an upper cover, a lower cover, and an inner cover constituting a belt cover. The seal structure for a belt cover of an internal combustion engine according to the present invention is characterized in that: the seal structure comprises an inner cover member disposed on an internal combustion engine body side, and an outer cover member that is disposed on a side opposite from the internal combustion engine body and that together with the inner cover member houses a timing belt TB in a liquid-tight state; the outer cover member is divided into an upper outer cover 4 and a lower outer cover 5, a first seal is formed between the upper outer cover 4 and the inner cover member, and a second seal is formed between the upper outer cover 4 and the lower outer cover 5; and at the boundary between the first seal and the second seal, a seat portion 36 on which a lower end part 32a of a seal member 32 of the first seal sits is formed by an end upper surface of a protruding portion 33 of the lower outer cover 5 and an end upper surface of a projecting part 35 of the inner cover member, the two end upper surfaces being flush with each other.
