Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealant for an organic EL display element, which has an excellent ink-jet coating property, and with which an organic EL display element with excellent display performance can be obtained even if it is a top emission type. Further, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a top emission type organic EL display element formed using the sealant for the organic EL display element. The present invention is a sealant for an organic EL display element, the sealant containing a polymerizable compound and a polymerization initiator and having a cure shrinkage of less than 11%, and a cured product thereof measured under a thermal deposition condition of 80°C for 30 minutes by a thermal deposition GC-MS method having an outgassing amount of less than 3000 ppm.
