Abstract:
Provided is a sealed structure that can conform to variations in the axial direction when a shaft with a flange is inserted. This sealed structure comprises a sealing device 21 including a first seal lip 27 that includes a first seal lip tip 27a and that extends inward in a radial direction and in a first direction in an axial direction, a second seal lip 28 that includes a second seal lip tip 28a and that extends inward in the radial direction and in a second direction in the axial direction, and a retaining ring 22 that retains the first seal lip 27 and the second seal lip 28; a plurality of members including a first member 11 that includes a first end wall section16 positioned in the first direction, a peripheral wall portion 18, and a second member 12 that includes a second end wall section 17 positioned in the second direction. The first seal lip 27a includes a tightening allowance with respect to the first end wall section16 so that the retaining ring 22 is pressed against the second end wall section 17 by axial direction reaction force.
