Abstract:
One purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements, which has excellent bonding properties and low possibility of contaminating liquid crystals, and which enables the achievement of a liquid crystal display element that has excellent impact resistance. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide: a vertically conducting material which is obtained using this sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements; and a liquid crystal display element.
The present invention is a sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements, which contains a curable resin, a maleimide compound and a polymerization initiator, and wherein the curable resin contains a compound that has a polymerizable functional group, an alkylene oxide skeleton and a hydroxyl group.
