Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element characterized in containing (a) an epoxy resin and (b) an amine as a thermosetting agent. The sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element may contain the (b) thermosetting agent in an amount at which the active hydrogen content in the (b) thermosetting agent is 0.8-3.0 equivalents to 1 equivalent of epoxy groups in the (a) epoxy resin. The (b) thermosetting agent may be an amine adduct. The (b) thermosetting agent may include at least two amines including 2-undecylimidazole. The sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element may contain (c) a filler. The (c) filler may be one or more substances selected from the group consisting of hydrous magnesium silicate, calcium carbonate, aluminum oxide, crystalline silica, and fused silica, and may have an average particle diameter of 50 μm or less. The sealing agent for a photoelectric conversion element may contain (d) a silane coupling agent.
