Abstract:
Provided is a sealing device in which a garter spring can be prevented from falling off from an elastic member. This sealing device comprises: a reinforcement ring that is annular around the axis; an elastic body part that is attached to the reinforcement ring and that is annular around the axis; and a garter spring that is attached to the elastic body part. The reinforcement ring includes a retainer part at an end on one side in the axial direction, the retainer part being an annular part that protrudes toward the outer periphery side. The elastic body part includes at least one protrusion provided more toward said one side in the axial direction than the section where the garter spring is attached, the protrusion protruding toward the outer periphery side from the elastic body part.
