Abstract:
The present invention minimizes the occurrence of noise while maintaining original sealing performance. A sealing device (10) comprises an annular reinforcing ring (20) encircling an axis line (x), an elastic body portion (30) that is attached to the reinforcing ring (20) and is an annular electroconductive elastic body encircling the axis line (x), and an electroconductive grease (G). The elastic body portion (30) has a base portion (31), a lip portion (35) extending along the axis line (x) from the base portion (31), and at least one annular dust lip (85) encircling the axis line (x). The lip portion (35) has, at the distal end thereof, a lip distal end section (36) having a lip contact surface (36s) formed to be capable of contact with an outer peripheral surface of a shaft such that the outer peripheral surface of the shaft is capable of sliding. The lip contact surface (36s) has an annular surface facing the outer peripheral surface of the shaft. The electroconductive grease (G) is applied to at least part of an inter-lip space, which is an annular space formed between the lip contact surface (36s) and the dust lip (85) along the direction of the axis line (x).
