Abstract:
The present invention relates to a sealing device and, to a sealing device capable of maintaining a constant temperature of a sealing surface of the sealing device even if a suitable solvent is continuously heated using the phase change of a material, and thus enables the pouch sealing part of a pouch secondary battery product, which has a uniform and excellent quality, to be manufactured. The sealing device according to the present invention comprises: a sealing body including, on one surface thereof, a sealing surface for sealing an object to be sealed; a solvent coming in contact with the other surface of the sealing body so as to provide heat to the sealing body; and a heat source for heating the solvent so that at least some of the solvent changes to a gas phase.
