Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a sealing material able to retain abnormal sound prevention properties, low frictional properties, water-repelling properties, and other such properties even after repeated exposure to temperatures below freezing point in a water-contacting state. The present invention provides a sealing material characterized by having: a sealing member containing an ethylene-propylene rubber; and a coating formed on at least a portion of the sealing member surface, and containing an acid-modified polyolefin resin whereof the unsaturated carboxylic acid content is 0.1 to 10% by mass.
