Abstract:
A production method for seat covering material, comprising a step in which: a plate material (60) is sandwiched between a heated design mold (51) having first stamping sections (53) provided therein that protrude from a first base surface (52) and a heated hot plate (56) having second stamping sections (58) provided therein that protrude from a second base surface (57 ); the plate material (60) is hot-pressed by the first stamping sections (53) and the second stamping sections (58); and recessed sections (35) are formed in at least a design surface of the plate material (60) facing the design mold (51). The first stamping section (53) and the second stamping section (58) have mutually different shapes as viewed from the sandwiching direction (D3) for the plate material (60).
