Abstract:
This seat device (10), due to a simple and compact configuration thereof, makes it possible to reliably and easily regulate a reclining operation of a seat (1) only in a specific state in which the reclining operation becomes problematic. The present invention comprises: a reclining operation part (100) for performing an operation to recline a backrest (3) of the seat (1) via a reclining mechanism (50); a lock mechanism (120) that makes the reclining operation part (100) inoperable by restraining same when the seat (1) is in a long state; and a cable (124) that is configured to be pulled as the seat (1) makes a transition to the long state. The lock mechanism (120) has a stopper (121) that is engaged with/disengaged from an operating lever (110) of the reclining operation part (100) by being linearly moved. The stopper (121), by being directly pulled by the cable (124), is moved linearly to a restraining position where the stopper is engaged with the operating lever (110) so as to make same inoperable.
