Abstract:
A seat for vehicle (610) comprises a seat body on which an occupant seats and a wireless power supply mechanism (650) provided in the seat body, wherein the seat body includes a seat back (612) that supports the back of the occupant and upper end members (614, 617) mounted to and supported by an upper end part of the seat back (612), the wireless power supply mechanism (650) is provided in the seat back (612) and includes a power transmitting unit (651) that receives a supply of power from a power supply unit and a power receiving unit (652) which is provided in the upper end members (614, 617) and which receives a supply of power wirelessly from the power transmitting unit (651), and the power transmitting unit (651) is disposed in an upper end portion of a seat back frame (622) serving as a framework of the seat back (612). With this arrangement, in the case in which a power supply to electric parts provided in a headrest is carried out through the wireless power supply, the wireless power supply mechanism can be arranged compactly in the seat for vehicle, and favorable power transmission efficiency is ensured.
