Abstract:

Proposed are a seating sensor and seat device that can detect seating without causing discomfort. The seating sensor is provided with: a base (6) supported by at least one of a plurality of support springs (92), the springs being strung between the seat frames (91a, 91b) and being obtained from wire rods that have bent sections; and a pressure-sensitive switch (40A - 40F) that is disposed on the base (6). The base (6) has a non-linearly shaped recessed part (7) into which a bent section of the at least one support spring (92) can be fitted. Because the base can be disposed so as to cross the bent section of the spring when the bent section of the spring is fitted into the recessed part, the pressure-sensitive switch, which is disposed on said base, can be stably disposed with respect to the wire rod spring.
