Abstract:
A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention for resolving a problem comprises: an electrode assembly formed by alternately stacking electrodes and separators; a battery case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated; a plurality of electrode tabs protruding from one side of the electrode assembly; a plurality of electrode leads, each having one end connected to the electrode tab and the other end protruding toward the outside of the battery case; a piezoelectric element arranged on the outer side of a cup part that accommodates the electrode assembly at the battery case, so as to receive pressure and supply power to the outside when the volume of the battery case expands; and a short circuit inducing unit, which has a wire shape, has both ends respectively positioned on sealing parts that seal the electrode leads at the battery case, and has both ends extended toward the electrode leads so as to come into contact with the electrode leads, respectively, when power is applied from the piezoelectric element.
