Abstract:
A secondary battery positive electrode according to the present invention comprises a belt-shaped positive electrode collector and a positive electrode mixture layer that is carried on the surface of the positive electrode collector. The positive electrode collector has first regions and a second region. The first regions are edge regions that extend in the long direction of the positive electrode collector at respective edge parts of the positive electrode collector in the width direction. The second region is a center region that extends in the long direction of the positive electrode collector at a center part of the positive electrode collector in the width direction. The positive electrode mixture layer includes first positive electrode mixture layers that are carried on the first regions and a second positive electrode mixture layer that is carried on the second region. The first positive electrode mixture layers include a first positive electrode active material, and the second positive electrode mixture layer includes a second positive electrode active material. The average particle diameter D1 of the first positive electrode active material is 1–7 μm. The average particle diameter D2 of the second positive electrode active material is 9–30 μm.
