Abstract:
This secondary battery is provided with an outer package member and a battery element. The outer package member has: an upper part in which a through-opening penetrating in a first direction is provided; and a bottom part disposed opposite to the upper part in the first direction. The battery element is accommodated inside the outer package member and is formed by being winding, around an internal space extending in the first direction, a laminate that includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The battery element has: an outer circumferential portion sandwiched between the upper part and the bottom part in the first direction; and an inner circumferential portion that is located between the internal space and the outer circumferential portion and that is opposite to the through-opening in the first direction.
